Adrian Bott is the co trainer at Gai Waterhouse Racing in Sydney, Australia. When Adrian graduated Darlet Flying Start in 2012 he joined Gai Waterhouse as the Assistant Racing Manager. This he considered a great introductory role into every aspect of the business that enabled him to progress into the position of Racing manager in 2013.

Adrian is the first point of contact between Gai and her owners. There are over 800 owners involved in the yard and in excess of 300 horses on the stable’s books, so communication between the stable and owners is paramount to the success of their racehorse ownership experience.

Adrian’s role also includes the purchasing and selling of new horses for the stable through yearling sales, racing stock sales and private transactions. During Adrian’s time with Gai, he has been fortunate enough to work with stars as Pierro, More Joyous, Overreach and Fiorente.

Des Dowling is one of Australia’s most versatile stand up comedy performers. Whether its appearing as a TV presenter, utilising his polished interviewing skills and humour as a corporate MC, or performing a hilarious 30 minute set of stand up comedy, Des delivers a top notch performance every time.

He has headlined at the top comedy clubs around Australia and his corporate clients include NAB, St. George Bank, Devine Holmes, The Master Builders Association, Visy, North Melbourne Football Club and many more.

He spent the early years of his career as a news and current affairs reporter for the AB, Channel 7 and Channel 9.

Des decided that making people laugh, rather than making them cry, was a far more noble way to earn a living. In the twelve years since, he’s carved out a career as a top line comedian and corporate entertainer travelling the length and breadth of Australia. He’s headlined at Australia’s premier comedy clubs and performed his own sold out comedy show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Combining his comedic and television skills, he worked for two years writing and directing sketches for the hugely successful “AFL Footy Show” and wrote and directed three half hour documentaries for Arena Television’s “Day In The Life” series. He also wrote and directed Channel 10’s comedy mockumentary series “Mark Loves Sharon”.

Des is meticulous, intelligent and very funny, and an asset to any event as both a host and a stand up comedian.
